Windows 10: Multi touch screen still work on extended screens after 2020 update?

I am hoping to obtain a multi touch screen to use as an extended screen for my laptop, however, as I was shopping around for one I read someone's warning on Amazon posted in 2020:

Beware, though, that after the October 10 Windows 10 update, the multi-touch system with ANY multi-touch monitor, not just this one is only fully functional for non-Microsoft applications e.g. flight simulations if the touch monitor is designated to as the Windows "Main" monitor in the Windows display settins panel right-click on an empty spot on the desktop - otherwise it will only respond as if it were a single touch monitor. Windows "system" gestures, though, will work even if the monitor is not designated as the Main monitor. Hopefully Microsoft will revert to the previous situation where ANY multi touch monitor would process multiple touches for applications, even if not designated as "Main". Bummer!

Is this true? I really hope not, because I am exactly hoping to use such a screen for this purpose. I can't seem to find any statement about this supposed aspect of any future Windows updates, and the person who wrote it has not replied to my request for a link for me to use to verify his/her claim.

Touch screen not working

Were you able to see if your driver is up to date?

We suggest to update the touch screen driver and check for resolution.

Follow the steps provided:

• Press Windows key and X on your desktop and click on Device Manager.
• Expand Human Interface Devices.
• Locate the Touch screen driver.
• Right-click on the driver icon and click on Update Driver Software.
• Click on Search automatically for the updated driver software.
• Follow the onscreen instructions to update the touch screen driver.

 

Touch screens

I can do 60 words per minute on my phone, perhaps more now as I've got used to the phone. ( htc desire z, using the stock onscreen keyboard)

Touch screen + predictive text I recon I could equal my keyboard typing speed. Maybe beat it depending on how advance the predictions are.

( hard to use predictive software on traditional keyboards as there is no way to quickly choose the suggested word, where as touch screen keyboards can have the suggested words appear above the function keys)

 

Touch screen not working on Windows 10

My Yoga 13 touch screen doesn't work either after latest update. Was working on August 29th. System info shows it has no pen or touch screen device.
