Windows 10: Multifunction adapters?

After MS forced the new disaster creator fall update upon us i have a unknown device Multifunction adapters -> unknown device my PC is slow and in Diablo 3 i get some error about D3D not being able to run or what ever.
Anyone know what the Multifunction adapters is and if it has anything to do with the direct x error my PC is totally F.U.B.A.R after MS forced yet another disaster upon us.

Hold the multifunction key and then connect to the charger still holding multifunction key.

I had the same situation and it helped.

 

Network Printer Windows 10 how to

I just had the same experience as AmandaC36. It found my HP Officejet as a printer, but does not show it as a multifunction device or as a scanner. How do I get Windows 10 to ID it as multifunction?

PS: After 3 days I do regret upgrading to Windows 10

 

I have no idea what is Multifunction adapters but i know you can revert back to Creators Update from Settings --> Update & Security --> Recovery you can also deferred feature update for 365 days from Settings --> Update & Security --> Windows Update --> Advanced Options.

 

D3D should be a part of DirectX, game is Dx9 so you should reinstall DirectX 9. You can do it safely as it just adds few necessary files.

 

I restored the image i took right after 1709 was installed and the DX error is gone as to the question i wrote it seems MS think my HP printer is not working but it also think it is working as it should confused? let me show with an image



As you can see its working but its not very strange but i checked the driver version it shows 0000.01 HP or MS never made a driver with that version number so i think ill go with printer not working, well scanner works just will not print text but will print a diag page just fine.
But i use my canon for printing so thats fine *Smile

 

First off, MS didn't force anyone into anything. You always have the option to turn down the update.

Anyways please understand Microsoft is NOT responsible for third party drivers; that responsibility belongs to the device manufacturer. The drivers you DO get from MS are usually the generic "just to get you working" drivers. However, the responsibility for device drivers still lay at the feet of the device vendor.

With that, it's always a good idea the check device manager after an update and also look for newly released drivers or software updates where possible. Personally you should check before an OS update, but...
