Windows 10: Multimedia files preview pop-up

When we have multimedia files stored on the hard drive or in cloud, it's difficult to recognize the content on it, in particular about movies, videos, music and images.In could be developed a tool that when we move the cursor on the file or in right-click menu, a pop-up appear with additional information of the file content. For example, in case of a movie, the short introduction, genre, rating... and probably in can be done in cooperation with other websites as IMDB, YouTube, LastFM... and so on.

Delete and Cut Files with Preview Pane Open

• Have you tried to delete the pdf file in preview panel?
• What exactly happens when try to delete the pdf file?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• 
  Open File Explorer.
  
• 
  Select View and click on preview panel.
  
• 
  Select the pdf file.
  
• 
  At the right corner you will be able to see preview panel.
  
• 
  You can right click on it and delete the files.

Multimedia preview problem in Windows 10 File Explorer

After the last update (Nov 17 2015) file explorer stopped previewing multimedia files, and only displays the embedded image, and the default application icon in the preview pane. (without allowing me to preview)

In the past I was able to add a value in the registry to fix, but the article that instructed that has vanished from the web.

Can anyone please guide me to how I can preview Audio and video files again from the file explorer preview pane?

• Open File Explorer.

  C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer
• Delete all the files.
• After deleting the files kindly try and see if there's a thumbnail preview of your files.
