Windows 10: MultiMonitor issue: Applications don't open on single turned on monitor

Hello,


I have a multi-monitor setup (three monitors). When I am done using my PC, the machine either is put to sleep, or turned off. Either way, the monitors are turned off. When I want to use the machine, there are times that I only need one monitor (the main monitor in the center, that is labeled as my main monitor in display settings). If I open applications that were on other monitors when they were last used before sleeping or turning off, then when I go to open the application, it still tries to open on the turned off screen.


This is annoying because I don't want to use power or turn on electronics that I don't need to use. This helps save money and extends the life of electronics.


Does anyone know of a way to make windows automatically open applications on the last monitor they were on by default, if the monitor is turned on, and if not, then open on any turned on monitor? There are suggestions of adjusting the resolution of the turned on monitor to force applications to appear on the main monitor, then readjust the resolution again. This is a workaround, not a solution. Does anyone know a solution?

don"t open game in win10i

I am game player.(sniper fury)in win10.but to day don"t opening game.or close after 2-3 secend.3 the back to last morning by recovery poin .but nothing

Issues while installing a second monitor in Windows 10

Really? I get a canned answer and nothing else? I posted that I had tried everything that I could find posted online. I did read the post that Andre suggested multiple times prior to posting this request for help. None of it helped.

My computer does not recognize that there is a second monitor is plugged in. The small step of changing the settings so I can put stuff on the second monitor ISN'T the issue. I am not that dumb. in the device manager there is only the single monitor listed
at one point there was a unknown device listed but my computer did not know if it was a monitor or a printer.

There has to be someone out there that knows how to fix this
