Run the Bitdefender uninstall tool, looking at the date of the driver you probably need to have the 2011 generation that you can find below on the page.

Okay, I ran the "Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2011" uninstaller download. Unfortunately, my PC crashed during the uninstall(maybe because it used/involved the file in the uninstall process?). Surprisingly though, I checked my "C://windows/System32/drivers" for the "bdfsfltr.sys" file and it wasn't there! So I guess that's good? Here's the new dm log collector file after that BSOD:

I tried to post this reply much earlier but right before I did I had another BSOD and so I left my house to do some things. And I had other BSOD's before that when I was testing my Intel Integrated and NVidia graphics cards on a game. Here's those BSOD's in case you can compare them or something: Attachment 58253

If I didn't yet tell to only use 1 GPU for everything, thus NOT GPU 1 for this and GPU 2 for gaming, then please start with it.
I believe that both the GPU drivers have been flagged due to switching.

Okay, I managed to find Trend Micro's uninstall tool, so I ran it and I believe Trend Micro is uninstalled now.

    About the GPU's:
    1) I have my "Intel Integrated Graphics", and I have my "NVidia high performance graphics card". Which should I use? NVidia would run faster I imagine.

    2) Whichever I use, do I need to make sure the other is not being used? If so, how should I do that? Can I disable it?

    3) Will I never be able to switch between them in the future? Many people are able to do this so that would seem disappointing if not.

Also, here are "dm log collector" files containing BSOD's I had since my last post incase they are useful to you:
    Attachment 58297

I haven't had BSOD's since uninstalling Trend Micro yet, but it really hasn't been very long. I'll probably get some soon.

    1. I would use the best *Smile

    2. Disable the other in device manager

    3. It is only for the time of troubleshooting, switching between GPU's could cause problems on an unstable system.

Alright, I'll try disabling one and see if anything happens and test it on my game and stuff.

Assuming no problems occur, how long should I wait to tell you that there has been no problems? Cause if there's no problems while one is disabled, surely that gives you much insight.

At least a few day + the frequency of crashes previously.

Alright, I disabled my NVidia graphics card (after doing a little research I figured it's probably less risky than disabling my onboard graphics card, but idk, I just chose it) via device manager and after using my computer for over two days now... The results are great! I haven't had a BSOD since! Even programs that would almost guarantee a crash, like my 3D game and my 3D design software, were causing no problems. Granted, they were running slower because I was using my intel onboard graphics card instead of my discrete NVidia graphics card.

Well, it seems you were onto something... So if the problem is the switching between the two, what now?

Also, you need to know I'm very grateful for how much you've helped me, the insights you've given me, and the problems you fixed so far.

If the problem is switching between the 2 and you want to use them both, then you need to find a way that gives no problem when switching and disable the other everytime. I can't help unfortunately, because I can't switch to my AMD GPU without a lot of problems (no bluescreens) and never found a way to get lost from the problems. My solution is that I have nothing of AMD installed and only use the Intel GPU (which is less in performance, but better then the problems).

I'm glad to hear that *Smile

I see. Well, I'll continue looking for more information and solutions now that I know what the problem is. I'll probably go check out the "Graphics Cards" section of this forum. Maybe they'd know something about this.

Again, thanks for all your help. It's a big weight off my shoulders.

They'll probably know it, I sometimes check it and the answers are very promising *Smile
