    hello,

    sry for my english.

i currently keep getting all kinds of bsod when i start my computer. i usually have to restart the pc about 1-5 times but after that everything works fine and i dont have any problem at all for 8h+ until i shut it down and everything repeats the next day

some of the bsod i remember however i feel like i got all of the common once and they are different pretty much every time:

    -DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION

    -SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

    -PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGE_AREA

    -IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

those are the ones i managed to take a picture of before the restart but i think there was maybe 2 more different ones

    when did the problem start:

i wanted to install a linux distro next to my windows10, so i tryed to shrink my main ssd and make space for linux. i got a problem that i cant shrink it even tho the space was aviable. so i followed a solution which fixed the problem this included changing a setting in the virtual memory. i unticked "automatically manage paging file size" and ticked "no paging file". by now i reinstalled windows and the setting is back to normal.

after i shrinked the windows partition i also wanted to remove and old system partition of a different ssd, however made the stupid mistake of deleting the system partiton of my main system which was one line below the one i actually wanted to delete. since i couldnt start that windows partiton anymore i just installed a new windows 10 the space i made for linux and then installed linux where the old broken windows was.

this is where the problem started. after i reinstalled windows for the first time i kept getting bsod of all different kinds.

    what i did so far:

i already checked my drivers by hand and also used a tool. windows updates also all seem up to date.

i also did "chkdsk C: /f /r" in cmd and let it run on the next restart.

i already reinstalled windows multiple times actually.

by now i also removed all other partitions on my ssd removed linux and reinstalled windows as the only os on the ssd.

normally reinstalling windows is my goto method if i cant seem to find a fix for a problem i have... however this doesnt seem to do the trick here :

at this point im not sure if the problem is a hardware or a software problem. however since everything works fine after a few restarts and i can do whatever i want on the pc without any crash i would still think this is software related.

another interesting information which i dont know what to make of: when i reinstalled windows the last time i also had bsod during the installation process booting from usb which seems kinda strange because so far i would have guessed the problem is related to my ssd. the bsod was before actually installing on the ssd but while still selecting language and so on

    :)

    Multiple BSOD errors started recently

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

    1. Uninstall Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%
    2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
      • Double click the executable to open it
      • Click on the button shown below

Multiple bsod during start, works fine after [IMG]

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window

Please update your BIOS to version 1402
    P8Z77-V LK | Motherboards | ASUS Global

If this doesn't help, I would suggest to clean reinstall the display drivers
Please uninstall everything of Nvidia using Display Driver Uninstaller and install new drivers from Nvidia. Be sure the clean install box is checked and only install the Graphics driver and the PhysX driver.

    Bug Check 0x1A: MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

    Bug Check 0x1A MEMORY_MANAGEMENT - Windows drivers

MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSODs, accompanied by occasional app crashes/GPUTDR.

MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSODs, accompanied by occasional app crashes/GPUTDR.

The relevant Parameter appears to be 0x41284 which means, A PTE or the working set list is corrupted, which in itself means nothing to most of us poor Windows users. I still wonder if this is not just bad RAM?

Is it possible to remove one stick of RAM for testing purposes and then test all sticks one at a time (that's is you have multiple sticks of RAM, otherwise it is a daft suggestion on my part).
