Multiple BSOD. Most recent - Memory Management: ntkrnlmp.exe

    Hi all,

I'm not very experienced with computers at all. I just built a computer from scratch with a friend. Just did a clean install of Windows 10 and have been having random BSODs since then. Memtest was ran for 8 passes with no error. Just switched the layout of my RAM because I thought that may have been the problem. Tried tweaking.com's Window Fix with no luck. I'm at a real loss. All my drivers are up to date and now I am doing everything in fear of a BSOD. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

    :)

  2. Multiple BSODs caused by ntkrnlmp.exe in Windows 10

    Hi there,

I have recently bought a new Gigabyte P15f v7 laptop (specs found at P15F v7 | Laptop - GIGABYTE Global).

I upgraded it with another 8GB of Kingston KVR24S17S8/8 memory and a Samsung 960 EVO 250GB SSD.

I have been having multiple BSODs at mostly random times. Some seemed to occur around the time I would disconnect from my WiFi connection in order to reconnect. I was doing this because I would suddenly loose internet connection on my home WiFi (this wasn't
happening on other connected devices). This led me to believe it was a WiFi related issue, however after updating the WiFi drivers (and others like chipset, bluetooth, IDE ATA/ATAPI and graphics etc...) I am still experiencing the BSODs.

I used WinDbg to try find the issue. Most of the time the driver causing the crash is ntkrnlmp.exe and I often get a DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION code on the BSOD screen. I did notice for one dump file in WinDbg that avgntflt.sys caused the crash. After uninstalling
Avira antivirus I have not received this problem again, but the ntkrnlmp.exe problems still occur.

I have now used verifier to try identify the problem. I receive a BSOD right after boot before Windows login screen. WinDbg again identifies ntkrnlmp.exe as the cause. I have uploaded this most recent dump created with verifier on here:

Please help me! Thanks in advance

Frequent BSOD lately with the "Driver overran stack buffer"

I have been having a number of BSOD lately(one an day). It seems to be going between 2 different types of BSODs, the most recent(which I have crash logs for) is for a "driver overran stack buffer" BSOD. According to the logs ntkrnlmp.exe seems to be the
culprit on a few occasions. Not really sure what to do at this point, can someone help me out?

Troubleshooting a counterfeit installation is useless as it is not known what has been modified to your system.
A counterfeit installation contains heavily modified code which causes the system to behave in unexpected ways.
For this reason, analyzing counterfeit systems is unreliable and most analysts won't try it.
I recommend to install a genuine copy of Windows.
If, after you have installed a genuine copy of Windows, you still get BSOD's we'll be happy to assist you.

Goes to show what I know! I just booted from whatever USB my friend gave me. I'll be sure to purchase a genuine copy. I hope that's the cause of all these BSODs :\ Thank you!
