  1. Multiple BSoD on a brand new laptop, each with diffrent error


    As stated in the title I got a laptop (Acer Aspire 5 a515-54g) 2 weeks ago, as I have burned my mobo. Laptop was brand new, without Windows I have used USB to install W10 Home (still not activated, I got key at dorm I'm currently with family until the end of month).

    Since the beggining whenever I closed the lid it was prompting me with bsod with "critical process died", I have done shit ton of troubleshooting sfc, checked disk with HDTune, even used pendrive to reset windows to factory settings.

    After I returned to factory settings my laptop started prompting me with "critical process died" again also with "i8042(something).sys", "(something)mou(something).sys", "Unexpected store exception" and win32kbase.sys.

    I have downloaded latest drivers from acer website, updated my windows via system update, but still some drivers in my drivers folder on C drive says that they are from March 2019.

    If this issue won't be resolved by tommorow, I will have to return this laptop but I won't have money for a new one for 2 weeks (this is how long I will have to wait to get them back from bank) and I must have PC for tuesday because of some projects on uni.

    Hi,

    Corrupted drivers and system files are one of the possible reasons why this issue is happening. We'd like to get additional information to help resolve the issue. Kindly answer the following questions below:

    • What is the stop error code showing on the screen whenever you experience BSoD? (e.g.: 0x0000000A, 0x0000003B, and 0x000000EF)
    • Did you installed any third-party applications on your new computer before the issue started?
    • Is there a specific action you're doing on the computer that triggers BSoD?
    In the meantime, we suggest performing the possible solutions in this
    article
    to help resolve blue screen errors.

    We'll keep an eye out for your response.

    Frequent BSOD on brand new alienware laptop.

    I have a brand new Alienware 15 R2 laptop with Windows 10 Pro installed from factory. Facing an issue where it frequently crashes. Goes into BSOD on boot at the login screen, reboots, again BSOD then reboots to menu where I can reboot to safe mode.

    Sometimes I just need to uninstall and reinstall the application (Origin, UPLAY, 7 ZIP) and the issue stops. But now it just crashes in between use.

    BlueScreenView shows error to be Bad_pool_header or IRQ_not_less_or_equal error for NTOSKRNL.EXE, along with IASTORA.SYS, USBXHCI.SYS, HAL.DLL,WDIWIFI.SYS

    Can someone help with this?
