Multiple BSODs caused by DCP_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION please help because I am out of ideas :

    Hi everyone,

If you couldn't tell by the title I'm desperate by this point...I've been dealing with this BSOD for a while now but at some point after some testing and trying, poking and prodding it stopped. Last night the BSODs came back again and continued on since. I've enabled minidump saves so here is the .zip archive of all five of my minidumps
    https://drive.google.com/open?id=1z8XFTlVBxXfKvGloQYyGMV1ye6aYwVXD

At this point I have updated Windows, updated my GPU drivers, my SSD drivers, ran sfc/scannow, ran dism online cleanup-image restorehealth

I have given all of these dmp files a read but I am not savvy enough tyo really understand what I am lookign for and pinpoint the issue. Hoping this community can help.

    Thanks!

    Roni

    :)

  2. Got a DCP_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSOD and need some help solve this problem

    Hi,

I've been running into a DCP_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSOD again and again recently.

After several BSODs, I found out that when I open a web page with a video in it, it might trigger the BSOD.

I use "might" because youtube ,twitch and some of the video site works fine but from time to time, when I'm browsing the Internet and come across a news or something that has a video in it, BOOM, the system stucks for 30-ish seconds and a BSOD.....

Can anyone help me with this?

The minidump and my systeminfo can be downloaded here: http://1drv.ms/1hFilzj

Multiple BSODS with different errors, caused by ntoskrnl.exe

Wow thats a lot of usual causes!

Just to clarify / remove some things of that list, as mentioned the RAM has passed memtest multiple times, none of my hardware is OC'd, BIOS is fully up to date.

As far as I'm aware this is because its the single ram speed, and with it being DDR its 800*2=1600, I could be mistaken though?

As for the slots basically I was having BSOD's whenever any module was installed in one of the channels, so I had to move both modules over to the other channel, and this seemed to fix it, however I can move them back around to see what happens.

As for the memory I could have sworn I saw it on the supported list a while ago, ill check with the vendor of my PC.

Thanks for all the help Multiple BSODs caused by DCP_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION please help because I am out of ideas : :)

    So whats the next step?

BSOD Reoccurring - DCP_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION with Bugcheck Reboot

    Hi Jaron,

Blue screen or black screen errors occur when the system encountered a problem that caused the system to shut down unexpectedly. We were unable to view the dump file due to some restrictions, so we'd like to know if there are any error codes aside from the
    DCP_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION error.

In the meantime, follow the steps provided in this article to help troubleshoot blue screen errors.

    Looking forward to your response.
