    Multiple BSODs in a month, Event Viewer cites "Schannel" and "Kernel-Boot" mainly


    The BSOD crashes range anywhere from hours apart, to days apart, to minutes apart. I just experienced three in the past 15 minutes. Event Log displays these as the most recent errors:A fatal error occurred while creating a TLS client credential. The internal error state is 10013.Windows failed fast startup with error status 0xC00000D4.The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000007e 0xffffffffc0000096,

    BSOD: Kernel-EventTracing Event ID 3

    I can't find any BSOD's in Event Viewer, but I found that event pop up quite a bit.

    Basically, after the BSOD, my rig rebooted and said to insert boot media. Went into the BIOS and it thought my Corsair F100 was a removable device! Luckily, a CMOS reset fixed it, and it booted right back up to Windows as usual.

    Googling the event ID really hasn't helped much. It's a simple enough fix, but this is my first blue screen in a long time, and I'm wondering if anybody here has any insight on this specific event.

    Since it's citing MSSE, I'm going to try to reinstall it.

    EVENT 36871, SCHANNEL

    Hello,

    my event viewer have been popping out and showing me this error multiples times throughout the day.

    Event 36871, Schannel

    A fatal error occurred while creating a TLS client credential. The internal error state is 10013.

    i have no idea why the error keeps happening and getting logged.

    i am a windows 10 user and i only uses the following programs, steam, google chrome and itunes.

    i had used nartac software IIS Crypto and implemented best practice before (i read this solution? somewhere) and the error still keeps happening.

    pls help to solve this issue, thanks

    Event Viewer ID 36887, Schannel, Fatal Alert Received 70

    Hi,

    I have been getting error in regards to event ID 36887, Schannel error. I'm running on Windows Server 2008 R2, 64bit. I did Windows update but afterwards, it seemed to won't go away. It's been appearing on my event viewer continuously. Help!
