Windows 10: Multiple BSODs Please Help!

Hi folks,


Please can someone help me get to the bottom of the problems I'm having with my laptop. It's been problematic for a few months now.


The laptop has become really unreliable with freezes/hangs, random resets and the dreaded BSOD


I originally thought it was after the most recent large Windows update but difficult to be sure. My gut feeling is that this is GPU related but even with the latest drivers it still happens. Hopefully the card itself isn't done for.


So far I've tried:


Resetting the PC although admittedly without creating a bootable drive

Checking for and installing all Windows updates

Identifying and updating all non MS drivers

Returning it to the shop for them to repair under warranty. According to the service receipt they flashed the BIOS, reinstalled Windows, replaced a fan and the LCD display ?!

Memory diagnostics found and fixed a fault

Disk checker no faults

Running "verifier" to force BSOD and check drivers.


Really grateful for any help you can give. Would love to have this working properly before Christmas so we can Zoom my wife's family reliably.

Various BSOD Errors Help

Hey all,

I've received multiple BSOD errors the past 2 days after rebuilding my PC. I've been trying to figure out the issue.

These are the few BSOD messages I remember seeing:

• DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION (multiple times)
• CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED (one time)
• IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (one time)
• WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (multiple times)

Steps I've taken:

• fully updated drivers
• applied all Windows updates
• Removed unnecessary hardware
• Monitored CPU/GPU temps (log file on temps during last crash in share)

Any help would be appreciated.

 

Multiple BSOD - Please Help

I've recently ran into multiple BSOD and need assistance in solving them. I've done "chkdsk /f /r", "sfc /scannow" and "mssched.exe" and it says that my system has no errors.
