  1. Multiple CMD / Conhost.exe instances open. Potential malware concern.

InTask Manager > DetailsI have 5 instances of "cmd" open and 9 instances of "conhost.exe"Recently, I foolishly and regrettably installed a pretty brutal trojan in late November / early December that initiated a data breach for me and my family and I've been trying my best to undo most of the damage it did, ever since that I've been incredibly paranoid that I might have worms or RATSor just any spyware or malware still active to this day.

  3. Malware - regsvr32.exe multiple instances, browser hangs, typing hangs,

    Hello,

My new desktop PC is bogged down by, what I'm pretty sure of, malware. I have had the GeekSquad try to fix it about 6x. After paying $$$ for their 'services', these same issues continue. They run scans, clean it, etc. It works good for about 1 week and
then the issue come right back.

    1) Browser hangs like on an old dial up connection

    2) When typing, it hangs every 3rd letter and you have to wait, backspace and start over again

    3) The machine gets extremely slow and I can audibly hear it 'pegging' and running hard.

    4) When opening Task Manager, I can see 4-5 instances of RegSvr32.exe running. You can cancel them, but immediately another starts running.

When I had MalwareBytes installed, it would pop up saying it was preventing 'regsvr32.exe' from connecting to the internet. So I know it's the regsvr32, just now what particular malware is using it. Even though it stopped it from connecting, it was still
    running.

How do I get rid of this junk once and for all ?

Multiple CMD / Conhost.exe instances open. Potential malware concern.

How to open multiple images in same instance of Photo Viewer?

Rather than use Photos I changed the Open with to Windows Photo Viewer then double-clicking a file in Pictures opened in Windows Photo Viewer which let me click the arrow to step through all the images in that Folder.
