  2. Audio stuttering after wake

    Hi, ShimmyW

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

Knowing that you have problems with your audio after waking up from sleep, you can try the following suggestions:

    1. Check for Hardware Conflicts:

    • Open Device Manager.
    • Expand the “System devices” category.
    • Look for any devices with yellow exclamation marks or error messages.
    • If you find any conflicts, try disabling or uninstalling the conflicting devices.
    2. Test with External Audio Device:

    • Connect an external audio device, such as headphones or speakers, to the computer.
    • If the audio stuttering persists, it suggests a problem with the Realtek audio device or its drivers.
    3. Disable Audio Enhancements:

    • Go to Control Panel > Sound.
    • Select the Realtek audio device as the playback device.
    • Click on the “Properties” button.
    • Go to the “Enhancements” tab.
    • Uncheck all the enhancement options.

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, contact Gigabyte support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or replace the audio device if necessary.

    Best Regards

  3. Stuttering every 5 seconds with multiple monitors connected through docking station

    Hi Thomas,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Community.

You may answer these questions to get more clarity on this issue:

    1. Did you make any changes to the PC prior to this issue?
    2. Do you experience the stutter issue on the PC when all the external monitors are unplugged?
    3. Do you get this stuttering issue if you enable the AMD graphics?
    4. Did you try changing the power plan on the PC to check the video output?

However, let us try these steps and check if that makes any difference.

Step 1: You may run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter on the PC and check if that helps.

    • Press Windows key + letter I to open Settings, click on Update and Security, click on Troubleshoot.
    • Scroll down & Click Hardware & Devices > Click Run the Troubleshooter & follow on-screen directions. If you get any prompt to apply fix it, click Apply and proceed further.
    • Restart the computer after troubleshooting is completed.

Step 2: You may also update the display driver on the PC.

Follow the steps from this article to update the drivers.

    Update drivers in Windows 10:
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/4028443/windows-10-update-drivers

Step 3: You may also want to keep the PC up to date.

    Update Windows 10:
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/4027667/windows-10-update

    Hope this helps.

Weird Stutter Issue Possible Cause Ram

And so you've done those exact same steps without removing the ram (instead doing an imagination removal of it) and it still stutters or not? You have to follow your same steps otherwise exactly but simply not actually pulling the ram Multiple computers getting bad stuttering :)

Really, the removal of the ram there should be doing nothing of importance. You're putting it back in and using it without issue so it shouldn't be a bad ram module at that.

There are other things that can happen on multiple on and offs.
