Windows 10: Multiple copies emails

Using MS Live Mail in Windows 10 I am getting multiple copies of emails and now there are 20000 in my inbox. How do I stop this and also delete my inbox in full

Receiving multiple copies of some emails

Using Outlook 2016, Windows 10. In the last few days, I've started getting multiple copies of the same email. Not all emails, but most. Some, just two or three. Others, up to a dozen of the same email. I've got four accounts at two different servers (RoadRunner and GoDaddy) ... and it's happening to all four, which is why I think it's an Outlook problem.

Additional clue: Some of the emails I'm getting multiple copies of are from last month ... stuff that had been deleted many days ago.

First instinct is to look at my settings (both POP accounts), to see if things are set up correctly. But that makes no sense — up until two or three days ago, everything was working exactly the way it should. I haven't made any system changes, haven't installed new software ... can't think of anything that would've made this just start happening.

Any way to make this stop that doesn't require a hammer? *Wink

I am having exact same issue. Windows 10, Outlook 16, GoDaddy email account. It's so strange that it happens to some emails but not all; maybe 40% of mine.

I don't want to change it to IMAP from POP3, or have copies removed from the server. That's bogus!

No other known solution????

If you prefer not to disable " leave a copy on the server " suggestion, then I would suggest that you ask the question at Microsoft Community , Office forum where the forum is exclusively dedicated to Office Outlook 2016...............

Deleting Multiple Email from Windows 10

Hi,

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft community.

I appreciate your interest on windows 10.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check:

Type mail in the search box to open mail app.

click on the folder from which you want to delete multiple emails.

click on enter selection mode in the search
area.

click on multiple emails and click on delete.

Problem printing multiple copies

Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

We understand that you are unable to print multiple copies using your Brother MFC-LW8900CDW printer, we will look into this for you.

I would suggest you to try steps mentioned in When
printing multiple copies or a multi-page document, only a single copy or page is printed - Windows and see if that helps.

If the issue persists, you can try to restart Print Spooler service. Refer the steps mentioned below:

Press Windows key
+ R, to open Run dialog box.

Type services.msc and click on
OK.

Scroll down, look for Print Spooler, right click on it and select
Properties.

Select Automatic from the drop down for
Startup type.

Click on Start to start the service and click on
OK.
