Windows 10: Multiple copies of all the C++ Resdistributibles?

Hi there,



I’m generally doing a clean sweep of my laptop, trying to improve performance, when I noticed I had multiple copies of Microsoft C++ Redistributible. I don’t know if I made a mistake when installing but all together I have


3 Apps of C++ Redistributible 2005

6 Apps of C++ Redistributible 2008

1 App of C++ Redistributible 2010 x64

1 App of C++ Redistributible 2010 x86

1 App of C++ Redistributible 2012 x64

1 App of C++ Redistributible 2012 x86

1 App of C++ Redistributible 2013 x64

1 App of C++ Redistributible 2013 x86

1 App of C++ Redistributible 2015-2019 x64

1 App of C++ Redistributible 2015-2019 x86


I’ve been thinking about deleting some of the spare copies in regards to 2005 and 2008, but I was worried it wasn’t the right thing to do.


Any advice?

To understand the issue better, I would like to know do you get any error message or error code?

For now let’s try simple troubleshooting methods and check if it helps. To install some Windows program you need Microsoft C ++. So, I would recommend you to un-install Microsoft C ++ and check for Windows updates. It will help fixing if Microsoft
C ++ is corrupted. Follow the below steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + X and click on
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Select programs and click on Program and features.
  

Check in Windows updates if any updates are available. If so, install the same along with optional updates and check if it helps.

Type “Updates” in the search bar and click on “Check for Updates” from the left pane.

Now click on “Check for Updates” button on the right pane, to receive a fresh list of updates and then install all the updates listed there.

Problem printing multiple copies

We understand that you are unable to print multiple copies using your Brother MFC-LW8900CDW printer, we will look into this for you.



I would suggest you to try steps mentioned in When
printing multiple copies or a multi-page document, only a single copy or page is printed - Windows and see if that helps.



If the issue persists, you can try to restart Print Spooler service. Refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows key
   + R, to open Run dialog box.
   
2. Type services.msc and click on
   OK.
   
3. Scroll down, look for Print Spooler, right click on it and select
   Properties.
   
4. Select Automatic from the drop down for
   Startup type.
   
5. Click on Start to start the service and click on
   OK.

Multiple windows 10 copies.

So what, the question has nothing to do with 7 or the legalities, it has to do with if he can with 10, I suggest you read the question, although why anyone would want more than one copy of 10 is beyond me. I doubt MS will be sending out a helicopter and a sniper because he has more than one copy as a duel boot.
