    Multiple crashes and BSOD in my windows 10 ,64 bit


    Hello,

    In the past week I faced Multiple system crashes unrelated to any software or hardware , I read that the last update of windows Patch KB4549952 had some problems , I failed to uninstall it . I failed to restore my windows also before the update as it crashes in the middle of the process . Tried to do recovery also it failed .

    I deleted the whole OS and downloaded Windows 10 from Microsoft support through a formatted USB Disk , I still Face crashes, multiple of them !

    I ran disk and Ram diagnostics but I found nothing wrong with them

    I also ran also from the command Prompt " sfc/ Scannow" and there were no errors

    What shall I do ?

    windows 10 32 or 64 bit ?

    The responses on this seem to be not totally consistent.

    If you are willing to jump through hoops such as installing Windows 10 multiple times, some of which would be clean installs, is it possible to upgrade from Windows 7 32-bit to Windows 10 64-bit using the free upgrade?

    I'm thinking a process something like:

    Step 1: Upgrade from Windows 7 32-bit to Windows 10 32-bit.

    Step 2: Clean Re-install Windows 10, but opt to install as 64-bit.

    GPU-Z update loop (Windows 10 64-bit)

    I don't have better steps - this is all, I have nothing to add.

    Maybe it is worth noting issue was on Windows 10 Enterprise, build 14393.187, so maybe you should test on the same.
    My other PCs have a different Windows 10 version - Pro, latest Insider Preview build from last week, and there is no such issue on those.
    All are 64-bit edition of Windows 10.

    This issue is not new. I have had same 1-2 years ago too, with older GPU-Z versions.

    EDIT: And yes, I have Windows 10 UAC enabled and set to defaults. If you are using your Windows PCs with UAC off, you likely cannot reproduce this issue. *Smile Multiple crashes and BSOD in my windows 10 ,64 bit :)
