Windows 10: Multiple --desktops-- in Windows 10

Task view gives you the ability to change between virtual groups of 'tasks'. But what I want is to have different 'desktop' views. I want to literally see different folder and file arrangements in the GUI view of my desktop. I don't care how these files are organized in the actual disk directoryIs actual virtual desktops possible with Task view?

• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

i cant open multiple apps on windows 10

I would suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps:

  Open multiple apps that you want.
  
• 
  Right click on the task bar.
  
• 
  From the jump menu select Show all windows side by side.
  

I also suggest you to run app troubleshooter and check if it helps.

windows 10 deleted my desktop files

Step 1 - I upgraded to Win 10 and lost all my files on Desktop.

Step 2 - Found the files in Network - USers- Desktop

copied all files again to desktop.

Step 3- Restarted my machine again and lost desktop files again.

Step 4 - As suggested did the following as listed below but dont find my files.

• Press “Windows + E”, open This PC/Computer
• Open Local Disc C, open Windows.old
• Click on Users, select your User name
• Go to desktop folder

Cant find my files. Why is Win 10 deleted files again and again from Desktop ?.
