Windows 10: Multiple duplicate hostname entry in AD ,How to enable setting in AD for duplicate...

We have found multiple duplicate hostname entries in our AD environment, we want to enable the setting for our AD environment when we join any PC in the domain if a hostname exists in AD it prompts a message hostname already can you suggest how to enable SID for a unique hostname for enablement so that when we join a PC to the domain message prompting hostname already exist

How to delete duplicate calendar entries on N8?

Hi,

I recently added a .ics file to add some calendar entries into my N8 calendar. But somehow the same calendar file was added multiple times and now I have 5 duplicate calendar entries for each day.

Is there a way to delete these calendar entries without deleting my old calendar entries? The .ics file was a fixture list of a club and has a lot of entries so deleting them one entry by entry is not an option.

Duplicate microSD card entries in File Explorer

How do I eliminate the duplicate File Explorer entry for the microSD card on my Surface Pro 3?

BACKGROUND: I've just completed a clean install of Windows 10 v.1511 from a USB drive. Everything went fine and I haven't added any apps, not even antivirus or browser, only the default apps. When I check file explorer there are two identical entries for the
microSD. The top one isn't expanded (single line) and a folder list is shown under the second one. Under Settings>System>Storage, I've since set save locations for documents, music, pictures, and videos as Drive E: (microSD); but that was done after I noticed
the duplicate entries. I've also checked the device manager for duplicate entries, but there are none. I've also removed the microSD card in device manager, shutdown, physically removed the card, restarted and reinserted the card. The duplicate entries are
still there.

Music track are Duplicating

Please find below steps :

1. My phone updated to amber.

2. Inserted new memory card

3.Added music tracks to card

But tracks are duplicating, When i format my phone then the duplicates are being removed.

Should I format my phone,whenever I insert new Memory Card?

Enabling backup(under settings) doesn't do anything to me

Please tell me how to avoid phone formatting.

Microsoft said tracks duplicate problem has been resolved in Amber update but its not.

Hope this time you will give better suggestion to remove duplicates.
