Note : the error code kept showing every 5-10 minutes, and the error code came out randomly (never occur sequently same code every times)



Let me tell you the story :

[I have this PC from November 2019, never have any issue until last week]

I got several window error code in last week, so I thought that the window files were broken, and I don’t want to fix it. Then I format my PC and install window 10 professional which is the OEM and original package that I use since I bought this PC.

During window installation, my PC was restarted itself multiple times.

After I finished installing window which was 5th attempt. [the window kept restarting and hang].

I started update window. During updating part, the window kept showing all error code above every 5-10 mins, and I have to do hard reset every time.

Troubleshooting that I have done so far :

1. RAM Test in window 10 and Bios - no error at all.
2. sfc /scannow : 100% complete without any error.
3. Done all window update.

Note : I will take a screen shot and attach it in here tonight.

My computer spec :

CPU : Ryzen 5 3600

Motherboard : asus tuf gaming x570-plus (wi-fi)

RAM : 16 GBs DDR4 corsair

VGA : MSI GTX 1080 8X

Power Supply : EVGA 750watt gold

SSD : samsung 970 evo plus

Computer randomly has black screen and restarts

Taco this could be software also. Before you get all crazy, do as Erocker suggested. Find out the error in the Event Viewer. Look for the faulting module and the error code itself. Also check the reliability monitor. At the bottom it will have "View all Error Reports". Post a screen of whats in there if anything.

This could be a simple as a bad driver install.

ALSO have you downloaded or installed anything lately? STAY OUT OF THE DAMN BIOS UNTIL WE KNOW THE ERROR! lol. I know you. Baby steps boy, baby steps.

 

PC Randomly Restarting after installing new Ram!

Tried your suggestions, but still had a restart! Also ran memtest overnight (13 hours according to memtest) and had no errors! Also ran Passmark Burn in test for a couple hours testing everything and had no errors or restart. Could fitting the new ram have triggered something to go bad like my mobo or psu?

 

BSOD DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE randomly after cold boot/sleep

For the past month I have been getting random BSOD's all with driver power state failure. They happen randomly, usually within the first 5-10 minutes of cold booting or waking my computer. Steps I have taken to attempt to fix the problem:

1. Reinstalled GPU drivers/ tried old drivers
2. Fresh installed Windows 1803, still happened, then fresh installed 1709
3. Disabled Fast Boot

None of these things fixed the issue, any help would be much appreciated at pinpointing the issue. Thanks
