    Valyrian Steal,

    The Service Status is fine for the 'on Demand' service. If the computer has not changed its behavior, the Windows Modules Installer may not be the issue. Something else is going on.

    Do you have any Restore Points that you can go back to a time when the problems were not happening?

    If not, doing a Reset lets you select whether to keep your files, if you wish, and reinstalls Windows 10.

  2. I've tried Restore Points and I don't have any before this issue.

    As soon as I solve the issue I'll look up how to create one

    I suppose I will try the Reset and see how that goes *Sad

    So I did the reset.

    From my understanding its still happening after that I'm starting to suspect it may be a hardware issue because my mouse is pretty screwed up I'm going to try a new mouse and keyboard and see if that is the issue.

  5. Enter the words Device Manager into the search box on the taskbar, and select it from the list of results.

    Do you see any yellow or red flags next to any entries?

Yes, under other devices I am using a different set of keyboard and mouse which so far is working out ok but you and I both know how quickly things can go wrong again so for now ill keep my fingers crossed and try to find out if the problem is my mouse or keyboard so that I can order a new one.

    Do you play any games on your computer? I was thinking about listening to some people's recommendations.

    That's alright thank god for people like you!

    How would you suggest I isolate the issue?

    I want to know if it is an issue with my Keyboard, or my mouse or the fact that there is an Unknown Device in my Device Manager with a Yellow Flag.

  9. After playing around with some things I'm starting to suspect that it may not be a hardware issue but an issue with the unknown device in my device manager.

    I wouldn't know where to start when it comes to fixing that I've tried searching stuff up about it with no success.

    An old thread however, this information maybe useful for someone suffering from the 0x80070426 Windows update error.

    I was able to get this problem corrected by going into "services.msc" and setting "Microsoft Account Sign-in Assistant Service" to Automatic startup type, and then starting the actual service. If I disable this, I was able to replicate the error above.
