Windows 10: Multiple issues -- Search bar will not accept text, has black bar, suggested fixes have not...

I have multiple and likely related issues.My search bar will not accept text and only displays a black box above it. I have tried every fix I could find. Cortana has been uninstalled, but I can not reinstall because every time I click Cortana in the Microsoft store, the store crashes. Prior to uninstalling Cortana, it would not load past the circle and would close before I could hit the 3 dots. I can not use the search bar the Search Quick access in file explorer and when I click on the time, it does not bring up the mini clock.Windows is updated and I have run the search troubleshooter mu
