Windows 10: Multiple Microphone Inputs

Why in Team Speak does my headset microphone not work?Well the answer is simpleon't install Windows 11 as it prevents multiple microphone inputs because my Kingston HyperX Fury Sound Cloud 2 Wired Headset Microphone does not work with Team Speak on Windows 11 as it will work fine on Windows 10.My microphone on my headset is fine as it works flawlessly with other devices.Prove me wrong, I dare you Microsoft.

No Microphone Input

So I just got my computer (built myself if that matters), and I can't get any microphones to work. I've tried the front and back microphone ports with multiple pairs of earbuds, as well as a USB headset. None of them work, but a little bit of static is
input and recorded whenever I plug them in or rotate them in their ports. Whenever I speak into the microphones, however, nothing is recorded.

So both my adapter for xlr to 3.5mm jack input and my newly purchased usb microphone are not recognised. I've tried updating the drivers, using different usb ports, uninstalling the drivers and letting windows do it manually. Every time though, it's listed as having issue's in device manager... Can some help?

 

Headset/Microphone background reduction; suggestions

There's a solution to this out there, but I cannot pinpoint the right search terminology to get accurate results.


When I speak into my microphone, whatever sound is being sent into my headphones, is also directly sent to the microphone and outputted upon transmit.

This means that it's not a case of the sound coming out of the headphones, then travelling to the microphone, it's actually going straight to the microphone instead.

All I've come up with so far, is a suggestion to mute the microphone input via Windows. Though that seems to render the microphone useless.
