Windows 10: Multiple Monitor Setup Issue

Trying to set up a ROKU TV to be a second display-only monitor on Windows 11. My primary monitor is connected to HDMI-1. Connected the ROKU TV to HDMI-2 on the PC. When setting this up, I accidentally chose "Display on 2 only" option. Now, my primary monitor works fine until I connect the Roku TV to the HDMI-2 port. When I do that, the primary monitor goes blank and the screen appears only on the ROKU TV. Since I can't input anything on the TV, I can't change that setting. When I look at Settings>System>Display, multiple monitors are not listed.

Double Monitor Setup is not connecting

Hi Yuri,

To setup dual monitors, I suggest you to press Windows + P keys
and select Extend or the required option and check for status. If you are still unable to setup dual monitor, suggest you to update the Display Adapter driver by following the steps provided below and check for status.

• Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapters.
• Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to update the driver.

Dual monitor setup issues under Windows 10

Hi,

Conflicts with the Taskbar settings is one of the possible reasons why some of the minimized apps open on your second monitor. We suggest changing Multiple displays option in the Taskbar settings and check if you will encounter the same issue. You can follow
the steps below:

• Right-click on the task bar and press Taskbar settings.
• Go to Multiple displays.
• Change the Show taskbar buttons on option to Main taskbar and taskbar where window is open.
• Restart your computer.

Setup dual monitor in Windows 10

I suggest you to press Windows Key + P on keyboard and follow onscreen instruction to setup dual monitor in Windows 10. As there is a conflict in connecting multiple hardware you may also
Run the Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with the Bluetooth adapter. Refer these steps:
