Multiple questions pertaining to audio, file installation and device administrator

So I had to reinstall Windows and I proceeded partition my C: drive to a 50gb C: Drive for my os and a 900gb D: drive for games and personal files. The only issue is that nothing will save to the D: drive unless I manually change the location. I have set my file location in windows settings to the D: drive, but nothing will save to that drive. I also want to hide specific icons from my desktop screen, but they aren't shortcuts so whenever I click delete, it says I need permission form the administrator and "Trustedinstaller". I cant find out how to remove the icon from my home screen without deleting the files, and how do I give myself admin permission? my desktop only has one user so I'm not sure how I lost permission. My most recent issue has seen me losing audio via speakers bluetooth or headphones. I tried restarting my system, but nothing has worked.

    Thanks in advance.

    :)

  2. Audio device

I just finished updating my laptop because it told me too. When it was finished it had no audio, it says 'No audio output device is installed' I tried trouble shooting but it can't find anything. I tried the steps listed from a similar question and it
did nothing. I've tried multiple online tips and it didn't work. Ive tried updating the device, uninstalling it but nothing works. It's a Lenovo ideapad with Windows 10 if that helps. Please any ideas?

  3. Numerous audio devices - why?

Looks like you have audio drivers installed for your AMD card. If you don't use it, you should be able to just uninstall that aspect of AMD drivers. I don't use the Audio through my Nvidia card, so I just don't install that driver.

Or, just ignore them as you suggest.

No Audio Output Device is Installed

    Hi,

You will need to select Windows 8 from the drop down list while installing the driver in compatibility mode.

I would suggest you to try setting the speaker as default audio output by following the steps below and check if it helps.

    1. Right click on the sound icon on the right bottom corner of the taskbar.

    2. Select "playback devices".

    3. If "speaker" is not set as the default device, highlight it and click "set as default".

    5. Save the changes.

    Let us know the result.
