Windows 10: multiple screen setting

Did something really stupid but here it is.


With the HDMI cable plugged in to my laptop and my Smart TV, my Smart TV wasn't recognizing my PC so I played around with multiple screen settings and inadvertently set it to show on screen 2 only that's the TV. Well now if I leave the HDMI cable plugged in to my computer I have nothing on my PC screen : How to I access the multiple screen settings now to set it to duplicate? With the PC on wifi and no HDMI plugged in, the options for multiple screens isn't there :::


BTW, there is no Action Centre ???

Saving Multiple Display Settings

Hello Mike,

You can change the default display settings from Display
settings. Make sure that you're on the main screen before following the steps below.

• Click the Start button.
• Go to Settings > System > Display.
• Set Multiple displays to Duplicate these displays.
• Click Keep changes to save the changes.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
