Multiple Storage Spaces Conflict with Each Other After Storage Spaces Upgrade

I recently upgraded to Windows 11 and was prompted to upgrade my Storage Spaces which I did a few weeks later. I am running four Storage Spaces which I've been doing for several years without issue. Each Storage Space is a pool of four hard drives contained in an external ProBox. Each ProBox connects to my new computer motherboard using its USB 3.0 ports. This setup has run flawlessly for many years on my older computer running both Windows 8 & 10. It also ran fine on my new computer until I upgraded Storage Spaces to Windows 11. After doing that I started having severe problems.Afte

Based on all the screen shots. Disk Management, Disk Properties and Partition Wizard: The used and unused space are consistent. Your disk is configured as GPT disk correctly.
Apparently, you did create a pool in the past. Here's my screen shot of Storage spaces:

Follow this link to remove this disk from the pool:

The correct way to find out the usage of each disk in your PC is: Settings->System->Storage:

Surface Pro 3 storage space is low. Storage settings say that Apps and Games is using 17.5 GB but when I add up the space from the list of apps it is only 5.7 GB. What is taking up up the other ~12 GB and how do I free up space?

Thank you very much for your reply.

You don't show a screenshot, so I am uncertain to which part of the process of creating a storage space you are referring. I pointed you to the tutorials. I now provide you with a screenshot of part of one of them, which shows a warning which might be what you are referring to.

Your question about double storage / redundancy appears to relate to the normal operation of storage spaces once configured, so seems obscure.

My impression is that few here have used storage spaces.

    Note too the warning in
