    Getting multiple Event ID error 131 Device Set-up Manager

    I am also having the same issue on every boot. Getting multiple Event ID error 131 Device Set-up Manager. Hopefully MS can fix it soon

    Multiple event 131/DeviceSetup/Manager in Windows 10 Pro

    I'm seeing multiple event 131's on my PC. The errors read:

    Metadata staging failed, result={00000000-0000-0000-FFFF-FFFFFFFFFFFF} for container 0x80070490.

    Metadata stating failed, result= {23524F5A-1BD3-5AAA-B457-32B6D788506D) for container 0x80030490.

    Any idea as to what this error is all about and how to fix it?

    I appreciate all the patience you have exhausted all throughout the process. Not so sure why it took so long to install the said update, but this may be caused by various factors such as internet connection, background processes, antivirus software, or corrupted system files. However, there were also other reports regarding on this, see this link: KB5032288 Windows 11 RP Build 22621.2787 (22H2) and 22631.2787 (23H2) - Microsoft Community

    With that, I advise to submit feedback regarding on this. Please follow the steps below:

    1. Open the Feedback Hub app by doing one of the following:
      • Select Start, enter Feedback Hub in the search bar, and select the Feedback Hub app from the list.
      • Press the Windows key + F to open the Feedback Hub app.
    2. Click on the “Feedback” tab.
    3. Click on the “New feedback” button.
    4. Fill out the feedback form with the necessary details.
    5. Click on the “Next” button.
    6. Select the category that best describes your feedback.
    7. Click on the “Next” button.
    8. Review your feedback and click on the “Submit” button.
