Windows 10: Multiple windows appearing and disappearing very briefly

I noticed this problem when I first booted up my laptop Win 11 yesterday and I just noticed this problem again a few minutes ago after Windows Explorer as well as Microsoft Edge was being unresponsive. Is this a sign of malware or is this just a common issue with Windows 11?

My windows calendar comes up briefly then disappears

when I click on the windows calendar app i t briefly appears to open then it disappears. No calendar is shown on the screen.

 

When I try to bring up an Excel spreadsheet, it briefly appears then disappears.

When I try to bring up an Excel spreadsheet, it briefly appears then disappears. Same when bringing up excel to start a new spread sheet. Anyone experience this problem?

for the last month a window has appeared on my PC for a split second. Then it disappears. I assume it is a command window. But disappears so quickly I cannot tell for sure. I think it only runs once. But it appears after being logged in for 30 minutes.
So not part of the startup process.

How can I identify what this window is? I have noticed it on my windows desktop and laptop. Both running windows 10.
