Windows 10: Multiple Windows License Keys Not Working

Recently, at the MSP I work for. I had to reimage multiple computers with a fresh install of Windows 10 Pro on new M.2 SSD. My boss wanted me to use the Windows Keys off the old M.2 SSDs. I wrote the license key down from the previous image to use for the reimage. I used the slmgr /upk to remove the license off the old M.2 SSD Windows 10 Pro.. On the New M.2 SSD, when the image was done installing, it prompted me to put in the license key. When I went to put the Windows 10 Pro license key into the freshly installed image, it came up with an error code. I need a way to give Microsoft support th

you can do a couple things.. Hope this helps..

• call your OEM and give them your serial number and they will give you the key.
• Install the new Windows 8 Developer Preview

"Flavors" of Windows licenses

Windows can be a little "odd" about license keys. There are at least 4 categories:

• Retail
• OEM
• Volume (electronic download)
• Corporate (no key needed)

For guaranteed success, the license key and media should be in the same category. If you have retail media, you may not be able to install it using an OEM or Volume license key, even though the key is valid for that version of Windows. *Wtf :wtf: Apparently, this is part of Microsoft's anti-piracy scheme (i.e., all customers are guilty until proven innocent).

Follow the steps below to open On-screen Keyboard.

  Windows + Q, type OSK (on-screen keyboard)

  And check if it works
  

Step 2: Run Hardware and device Troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your devices. Refer these steps:

  Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.

  Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.
  
• 
  Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.
