Windows 10: Multitasking - Opening three windows in parallel

Hello dear!
I've seen all the videos and all the tutorials, but unfortunately I still can't open three windows on the same screen.
The tutorial says that I have to drag the open window to the side and bottom of the screen, but the drag is only possible to the right or left, so I finally stay with only two apps open on the screen at the same time.
It may be something in the settings, but unfortunately I tried and changed, without success.
Please can you help me and explain how to do this?

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Upgrading to Windows 10 in Parallels

I know that I need to do a clean install. That's why I asked about how to BOOT up Parallels from the USB. If I wait until Parallels is open to select Parallels as the location for the USB to operate within, then it's too late already. This only works for
simple upgrades--which this is not. I need to be able to open Parallels where it defaults to the USB so that I CAN do the clean install. Plugging the USB in before opening Parallels defaults it to the Mac partition of the computer. Can you please tell me the
steps to take to get Parallels booting up from the USB to do that install? Thank you!
