Windows 10: Multitasking view on second monitor not showing programs

So, I'm using Logi Options+ and it has allowed me to use my Logitech MX Master 3 mouse to its fullest extent. However, when I use the thumb button to activate task view, only one of my two monitors displays the programs that are active on that monitor. Now, I'm using a laptop for my primary monitor, and my secondary monitor is a Samsung C7HG9X. This is primarily an issue because I make heavy use of virtual desktops. As such, I can only swap programs between virtual desktops that are on my primary laptop monitor. Is there any way to fix task view so that the programs on the Samsung monitor ar

Some of the advantages of having multiple screens (dual monitor) are it increases your productivity or it allows you to do multitasking. When awaking your PC after putting it to sleep, it will be directed at the sign in page. Normally,
the second monitor will just reflect black screen and the main monitor will reflect the sign in page. After signing in, your second monitor will automatically open if it is turned on.



If the second monitor doesn’t turn on, we recommend that you run the
Power troubleshooter by following these steps:

• Click the Start button, then type Control Panel and then press Enter.
• Change the View by option on the top-right to Large icons.
• Click on Troubleshooting, and click on the View all option on the left pane.
• Run the Power troubleshooter.

If the issue persists, kindly refer to the resolution provided by breadbox88 in this thread and
check if it will help you with the issue.

Windows 10, second monitor is not working

Have you tried connecting the secondary monitor directly through the HDMI ports?

You have mentioned that you are able to see only one 'Generic PnP monitor' displayed in the device manager. In this case I would suggest you to check if the Device is listed as a hidden device. Click on the 'View' option in the device manager menu and click
on 'Show hidden devices' and check if the second monitor is listed now. If not, then visit the manufacturer's website to download the latest drivers and install it in compatibility mode and check if it recognized by the device manager. Let us know the results
