Windows 10: Must enter PIN promptly after coming up from sleep mode

I press the space bar to wake up Windows 11, the date and time display comes up and I get a box into which to enter my PIN. If I enter the PIN promptly the system comes up fine. However, if I'm not quick enough perhaps two or three minutes the screen goes blank. Pressing the space bar brings the screen back with a background picture, but no date/time displayed and pressing any key does not bring up the PIN display box. The only way out of this situation I've found is to unplug the PC then plug it back in and then do a normal/cold startup.

Can't enter PIN for Headset

I'm grateful for your replies. I obviously haven't done a good job of explaining. Here are snips of the windows involved. I have done all the steps suggested, but I can't directly enter the PIN in the larger window. That seems to be my only problem. Plantronics hasn't answered yet, but I'll hope they come through.

Automatic Reboot When COming Out of Sleep Mode

In the past couple weeks, my PC had started rebooting itself whenever it comes out of sleep mode. Before, it resumed wherever you were when it went to sleep.

Now, it automatically reboots and takes you though the 5 minutes start up process before you can enter your PIN.
