Windows 10: Must restart laptop to connect to wifi

Everytime I turn on my laptop there are no networks available. I have to troubleshoot and just let it restart my laptop but then all the wifi connects appear. What do I have to do to fix it so that I dont have to run troubleshooter and restart my laptop every time I turn it on? In the troubleshooter it says theres a hardware or driver issue with the Qualcomm listed below. Cannot connect to wifi with laptop

Hi,

We would like to isolate this issue that you're having right now. We suggest that you try the steps below:

• 
  Go to Network and Sharing Center.
  
• 
  At the right pane, click Change adapter settings.
  
• 
  Right click on your connection name (WiFi name) and Properties.
  
• 
  Click the Configure... button.
  
• 
  Go to Power Management tab.
  
• 
  Uncheck/disable the radio button for "Allow this device to turn off this device to save power".
  
• 
  Restart the PC (Important)

Laptop keeps restarting every time I connect to Wifi.

• Is the issue isolated to a specific WiFi connection?

[b]Yes. This issue is specific to WiFi connection at my Home. It works fine on Smartphone's Hot spot.[/b]

• What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

[b]So far, I have only tried uninstalling security update, after which it works fine with mu home WiFi also as it used to work before this security update.[/b]

 

Windows 10 wifi not turning on Acer Aspire laptop

In order to get the list of available wireless networks, you have to:

1. Switch on Connect to suggested open hotspots (see the screenshot in question);
   
2. Click on Wifi icon in the right corner. Now you have your networks back.
   

After that the parameter from Step 1 can be turned off, networks will be listed normally after restarting Wifi.

P.S. I feel rather stupid at the moment. I thought that open hotspots are passwordless hotspots and so are presumably not very safe. So of course I've turned that off during installation.
Really hard to see any logic in this case.
