    Mute being turned on randomly


    Ive just found my hp x360 running fully updated W11 has been turning mute on randomly, but every time after waking up/ Ive run T/shooters, driver was newest, but uninst and reinst. Any ideas?

    Windows automatically turns mute off

    1. I turn mute on with my HP Pavilion laptop running Windows 10. I can do that with the Function key or with the Speaker Slider in the Task Tray.

    2. But every time I re-boot, the mute is turned off and I have to turn it back on again.

    Is there any way to keep mute permanently on?

    Fixes suggested thus far in this forum have not worked.

    Windows 10 freezes randomly


    I had already tried turning off fast startup, to no avail.
    Will look at the list you provided, thanks. Hard to do when computer freezes on the Windows loading screen though. *Biggrin
    I had tried that as well... no result.
