Windows 10: My 20M USBA Extension NOT recognized with a specific Model 450G2

Dear community,


I am using 5 different models of laptops HP 6560, HP 4540s, HP 450g2, HP 450 g5, and Lenovo E570 with Windows 10 Education, the latest version. I have fixed a Webcam Logi C922 in the ceiling of the room connected to a 20 meters USB extension cable. The question is that when I connect the extension cable with 4 of them except for the HP 450g2, the camera works fine. However, when I connect the extension cable with HP 450G2 it will not read kind of not recognized. but the popup sound is like going to connect and disconnect the cable and the device manager keeps refreshing. The OS is up to date and tried many drivers, still has the same problem.
Please I really need your advice.

• Where did you download or purchase the extension?
  
• What steps or information were you trying to do with it?
• Was the extension indicated that it will only run on a specific browser?

To have a better clarity on the issue and guide you accordingly, kindly help us with the following information:

• Which build of Windows 10 is installed on the machine?
  
  (Search winver from the Start menu to know the same)
  
• What’s the version of 3D Builder application installed on the machine?
  
• Is the issue specific to the model you’ve downloaded, or does it happen on all the models?
  

The issue could probably due to the corrupt model. If the issue is not specific to the model you’ve downloaded, you may try the steps listed in the article
Fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store and see if it helps.



If the issue is specific to the model you’ve downloaded, I suggest you to use the
Microsoft 3D Printing repair tool and see if the issue persists.

Extensions unresponsive

I realized your concern and will assist you to resolve the issue.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• 
  Settings > System > Apps & Features > Uninstall the problem Edge Extension(s)
  
• 
  Go to Store > manually search the store for the extension, then install it again.
  

After it's installed, click the 'Launch' button and it will take you to Edge where you can set it up.
