    I have had this drive for 8 weeks and only now have I had a problem with it. It will not notify me when the drive has been plugged in, but in the Disk Management it reads "Active". And it will also not appear in the Storage Settings as well, so I can't figure out what is causing the drive to be corrupted. I turned off my PC, I unplugged it, I read tutorials about it but nothing. Can you help me with this problem, please?

    Windows 10 keep disconnecting my Seagate 4TB Backup plus external harddrive.

    I was forced to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10, and now my seagate external USB drive will get disconnected after a while. I have to restart my computer to get it to recognize it again. This is a brand new Dell computer.

    I've tried going to Power Management and turning off the USB power suspend, and also never turning off harddrives. But it still doesn't work.

    I've tried installing the seagate software. Doesn't work.

    My questions are:

    1. Has any of you with a Seagate backup plus drive ever got it to work with Windows 10?

    2. What portable USB harddrive have you verified works with Windows 10? I don't mind buying another one but don't want to run into the same issue.

    Windows Backup can't find my seagate 4TB drive

    Current build is Windows 10 Home version 1703. Seagate 4tb is formatted in ntfs multiple times now. I'm not getting error messages. Windows does find my other external disk Western Digital hdd 500gb in the back-up center but not the 4tb Seagate.

    When I use right mouse button and then click automatic play on the Seagate 4 tb there is no "configure station for back-up" button but for the Western Digital 500gb it does appear in automatic play...
