    Windows Email Account Compromised

    Hi,

    unfortunately my Windows account email has been compromised.

    The intruder was able to change the email and the password of the account, thus locking me out. Microsoft offers a manual procedure to recover access, but despite entering all the info that I can the team does not recognize me as the owner of the account.

    The compromised email is still associated as Administrator of my main Windows 10 PC. Is it possible to have another account as administrator without having to format the PC/reinstall all the software?

    The automated account recovery process cannot unlock my aunt's email account.

    Oh. One article on the account Recovery Form said that there would be questions about Contacts and the subject of received emails.

    The next step would be

    • If you are unable to use the account recovery form because you don't recognize the additional account security information, use our Sign-In Helper.

    email account hacked. please help

    I have a yahoo email account that seems to be hacked. Following are hacking activities I have noticed.

    1) Spam emails being sent from my account to my account and my recovery email account.
    2) Recent emails in inbox are missing
    3) New emails in deleted mails folder

    I have reset passwords for both my email account and recovery email account and also re-installed my mac but still spam emails are being sent from my account to my account and my recovery email account.

    My mac was not even turned on when those emails were being sent. No one else knows my password. I do access mail from my iphone and ipad too.

    Its my primary email account please help.
