Windows 10: My account has been hacked the hackers changed the email and I cannot get back in or log on...

My account has been hacked about a week ago using the one time logon code. I've tried logging back in a hundred times to no avail, and have also already contacted Microsoft support which has proved ultimately useless. This situation has impossibilitated me from playing minecraft or logging into anything Microsoft related on my PC, since I keep getting the error code 0x80048823 . My hacked account is named Vicente Campos just as this one and also had the same email *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. In this week since I've contacted support I came across, by chance, the email which is now linked to my acc

Also may I suggest you change email accounts to one of the following.....

Gmail
Outlook

The reason is they both use "Step two verification". This style of verification means even if a hacker gets your password they cannot log in to your account. You see every time someone try's to log in that hasn't been verified you will get a text or a phone call giving you a final code to log in. Its very easy and simple to setup also. The great thing is once you setup your Email application with a specific "application password" from that account you never have to log in again AND your account is protected from being logged in from foreign entities.

I like the new outlook personally however Gmail is also damn good. Gmail also has an IP tracker that allows you to see WHERE the account has been logged in from. Anyway let us know if you wanna change over and have any questions. We will be happy to help and welcome to TPU!

My account was hacked and the hacker changed my security info from my normal email to *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

I tried calling, going through support, and every thing I try either denies my account existing or sends me to the support center where it'll say the same thing. How do I get support to get my account back? I have screenshots of someone from Italy changing my account and the email used to hack it. They logged into my EA account and there is nothing I can do but send a recovery email to the hackers email. Any suggestions?

When a Microsoft account is hacked and the hacker changes the associated Email, sadly it is no longer possible to recover that account, because any recovery codes will go to the hackers Email address, the only option is to create a new Microsoft account, then because this community is just a user to user forum, we do not have account access, you will need to contact Microsoft support directly to see if it is possible to move your purchases to the new account.
