Windows 10: My Account & PC Are Unable To Be Signed Into - Zero Help From Microsoft

Hello - hoping dearly someone can help me here.A few days ago I decided to change and remove / replace my primary email address associated with my Microsoft account which was also the same email associated with my Windows Laptop sign in... Without thinking of course, this caused that my sign-in PIN # is no longer valid - leaving my attempts to sign in with "your credentials could not be verified" status 0x0000006d, substatus: 0x0. Click to setup your pin again"... Even after following the prompts to setup a new pin, it just returns me back to the sign-in screen as if nothing happened...

1. Which accounts are you unable to sign in to?
2. What happens when you try to sign in to your account?
3. Are you seeing any error messages when you try to sign in to your PC?

If you are referring to the Microsoft account and if your Microsoft account has been compromised, it means that someone might be using your account to access your personal info or send spam. I suggest use the following guide to
get back into your account, review your personal info and settings, and help prevent this from happening again. Refer the article on

How to access a compromised Microsoft account and try to reset your password. If the issue still persists you can follow the remaining steps mentioned in the article and check if that helps.

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

• Is this the only account on the computer?
• Was this account upgraded from previous version of Windows?

It looks like you are using a local account. I suggest you follow these steps:

• Click on search in taskbar and type account.
• Click on Accounts.
• Now, under Your account, click on Sign in with Microsoft account instead.
• Enter your Local account password for confirmation and then follow the screen instruction.
• Enter User name credentials for your the new Microsoft account and click OK.
