Windows 10: My account was hacked on Aug 7th, 2024. Fraudulent transaction.

My account was hacked on Aug 7th, 2024. The person placed an order. I have been trying to contact someone and can't get through to anyone. The order number is 5958819833. Tracking 403813775098. I did not order this. My bank is telling me this is a Microsoft issue. I need help. There is no way to contact anyone.

77000 Steam accounts hacked every month

Ironically I've had the same crappy password since I made my Steam when HL2 came out and never been hacked, but I've had my Origin account jacked twice with a much more complicated password. 2 step on Origin fixed this problem, but just thought it was kind of funny. I went with 2 step on Steam to be safe too.

 

Fraudulent activity

Last week I had two transactions in my bank account that I did not recognize. When I went to one of the websites to see if I could speak to someone about the transaction before clicking on the website, I noticed it said scam, so I immediately called my bank and cancelled my card to receive a new one. The two fraudulent activities on my account were from identity theft websites.

 

Fraud on my account via hack

My microsoft account was hacked on Wednesday 23rd February at 2:34 pm and a fraudulent purchase was made by the hacker for £839.00. I had my wifes paypal as the payment method. So the transaction went through. I reported the crime immediately once manged to regain control of my account. The Hacker tried again the next day but I'd fortunately removed the payment method so they couldn't strike again. Microsoft gave me a case number and said they would investigate the fraud and keep in touch via email. This is now nearly a week later and I have received no further updates.
