Windows 10: My Acer Aspiron E5-571 Keys "2, q, w, s, x, z, WIN-KEY" are not working

Hello everyone,


I have this laptop as mentioned above. ACER Aspiron E5-571. A few days back certain combination of keys stopped working at all. 2,Q,W,S,X,Z,WIN are the keys stopped working. I have searched through the internet for various solutions and found out many. Like troubleshooting, uninstalling/re-installing/keyboard changing/compressed air blowing/etc etc etc, and the most appreciated solution that i found was that of unplugging power cables, shutting down system, removing battery and keep the power button pressing for a minute and boom!!! .... I have tried almost everything, but nothing seem to be resolving my issue. Those ***** keys are still NOT working.


Can anybody here propose me a solution which is not listed above? What seem to be the problem actually? I have tried another keyboard as well, but same issues.


Please dont ask questions or propose solutions that i have not already addressed above.

Keys Not Working When Holding Q and W keys

Hi, when holding down the buttons Q and W in Fortnite, if I press the C key it'll build a wall but then when I press X, it won't register thereby not placing down a wall. The problem is not just with X and C keys; it's with all other keys as well as they
don't properly register when I'm holding down Q and W.

This has been the case since the day I bought the computer so it might be something to do with Windows. Any way to fix this?

 

Keyboard keys switched


After the latest windows insider update some keys on my keyboard have changed. For example " is now @ and the opposite as well. Meaning if I want the @ key as in a email address, I must push the " key. I cant seem to find a way to reset to default. The normal keyboard default does nothing. The other changes are listed below, the errors are in bold red;

E5 key pad tones

I tried it with my E5 and all keys will sound if it's the first key pressed in standby mode. If I press "Q" then press it again, only the first press will make a sound, but other buttons like W, "number keys" will make a sound with every press.
