Windows 10: My Acer laptop power on switch press power button switch light and laptop screen blinking...

If I press the power button it's blinking and laptop screen just blinking not turning on any solution

Press the Start button, blue power light blinks once, accessory lights blink once then nothing

I have a HP Elitebook 8740W running Win 10 Pro. When I press the start button the power light on the front of the laptop comes on for 2 seconds, then the accessory lights across the top of the keyboard blinks once, then nothing happens. The screen is blank.
If I hold the Start button down, the power light stays on for about 9 seconds then the accessory lights blink and then the screen is blank.

I have removed the battery and power wire, then held down the Start button for 30 seconds. Put the battery back in and the power plug. No change is anything.

The power light does not come on when the laptop is plugged in.

Any ideas on what to do now.

 

Why is the power button blinking light

The power button on my laptop keeps blinking and I'm getting no power however I haven't plugged into the charger and it is indicating that it is charged and the power light on the other side of the laptop is also on indicating that there should be power but Getting atype of home screen or anything like that please help

 

My laptop only turns on when I jumpstart it with the charger and press the power button multiple times

My laptop is 10 years old (Acer Aspire V5-573). The battery life (that should last around 6 hours) became poor over the past few years and it would die within 2 hours unless I had the charger plugged in. Ever since, I always used the laptop with the charger plugged in. However I recently replaced the battery with a new one and now the laptop is lasting up to 7.5 hours without the charger being plugged in.

However the problem I have noticed before and after I replaced the battery, is that my laptop would not turn on when I pressed the power button the first time, even when the battery was 100%. It would still not turn on when I connected the charger. It only turns on when I jump start it with the charger. The following are the steps I take to get the laptop to turn on:

1. Ensure the laptop is charged 50% or more.
   
2. Ensure laptop is unplugged from charger.
   
3. Press the power button. This would cause the power light to blink. However the laptop will not turn on.
   
4. Press the power button again. Power light does not blink this time. However when I connect the charger to the laptop, then when I press the power button, the power light does blink. When I press the power button again this time, the power light does blink and most of the time, it blinks each time I attempt to press the power button until the laptop finally turns on. Otherwise I disconnect and reconnect the charger. When the power light blinks, I sometimes have to press the power button more then 50 times, sometimes 20, sometimes 12 times, sometimes 9 times, sometimes 4 times, sometimes 2 times or 1 time before the laptop turns on. So it is random, but average 12 times.
   

Note that when I replaced the main battery, I replaced the CR2032 3v CMOS battery too, but it has not changed anything. I don't think there is a problem with the power button itself either, because it does eventually turn on the laptop and I can use the power button to shut down the laptop with ease.

Any else had this issue?
