Windows 10: MY Adobe Elements 2018 Not working with Windows updates

MY Adobe Elements 2018 was working Fine - With the Windows update, it no longer works - Why is it that I'm responsible because I can't fix it?

Adobe Elements just downloaded wont open

• yes. a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the problem and notify you if a solution is available.

Organiser seems to work. Editor does not.

2018 version. Purchased yesterday Order number 5673986199

Troubleshooting? Yes contacted Adobe. They say MS must provide the serial number, which did not come. I downloaded from the MS app shop, and then it just said launch. No serial number was given Adobe requires that serial number in order to take action

 

Installing Adobe Photoshop Elements 2018

I recently purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 2018 from Microsoft store.

It apparently runs fine.

When I look at My account on the Adobe website, it doesn't show my purchase of PS Elements. How do I find the serial number, my Adobe ID, and password?

Windows 10 April 2018 Update and Adobe Photoshop Elements 2015 purchased from Microsoft Store

Your reply shows ignorance of the issue. Like me thousands of other Customers have faced the problem after updating to Windows Update April 2018. Prior to this update everything was fine. Therefore how Adobe is responsible for the problem I am facing now.
Most probably this Feature Update changed the Registry values of my Adobe PSE 2015.

These changes in Registry of Photoshop Elements or Photoshop have surfaced (after April 2018 Update) in Adobe's retail sale of the product as well as in the product sold in Microsoft Store. Adobe Forums have suggested solutions for the product sold in retail.
These solutions, they say, do not apply to the product (in my case PSE 2015) purchased through Microsoft Store. I have been using PSE 2015 (purchased from Microsoft Store) for the last 3 years without any trouble. April 2018 update caused the problem.

Only Microsoft can redress my problem and not Adobe.
