Windows 10: My adventures with SSD alignment

I have just purchased a crucial Ssd 500gb. I copied the old boot drive with a triple boot of XP, win 10 x86 and win 10 x64. While googling SSD I came across an article on alignment, so I used aomei partition tool to re-align the xp and 32 bit partitions but discovered the x64 partition was already aligned at 2048 , how come.

Use
MiniTool Partition Wizard Free Edition instead because it has the additional capabilities that are needed for alignment of SSDs. EaseUS does not have this capability.

Proper alignment of SSDs is essential to avoid unnecessary disk usage [unaligned SSDs are working two to three times as hard as they need be]. Extending your partition across into the empty space will disrupt the alignment so it will need to be
set up again. There are some explanations of this in
How to move from a smaller SSD to a larger SSD [much of the article concerns his particular disk change but he does explain alignment well - you will also see the author's name, JWStuart, in this forum where he contributes very effectively indeed].

I use MiniTool for all my other drives as well [HDDs] and it is just as good as EaseUS on them.

Installing Windows 10 go's so slow !!! What's going on ?

When you "recreated one new full primary partition", did you perform a "Quick" or "Full" format on that partition you installed Windows 10 on?

Also the SSD should be formatted with the proper "Offset" value for an SSD.

Full format and an improper drive offset / alignment value will slow the SSD down to a crawl.
