My airpods keep stalling with my new laptop. They don't diconnect but they keep pausing even if the music says that it is playing. How could I fix this?

I would suggest you to refer the steps mentioned below and see if that helps:

1. Press Windows Logo key + X, and select
   Device Manager.
   
2. Expand, Human Interface Devices.
   
3. Look for AirPods Audio/Video Remote Control HID and
   AirPods Hands-Free Call Control HID, right click on each entry and select
   Properties.
   
4. Go to the Power Management Tab, clear the checkbox for
   Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
   
5. Also, repeat step 4 for Bluetooth Low Energy GATT compliant HID.
   
6. Click on OK.

Music player does not play (stalled at pause)

For some reason, the music player of Windows Phone 8 in Nokia Lumia 920 stalls often. There are two distinct types of stalling:

• If I select an album to play, only the first track is played and the player stops at "pause" in the beginning (0:00) of the second track. Does not go further even if I ask for play repeatedly.
• The player does not start playing, be it a track on my phone or in the cloud (Mix Radio). I can jump to next track, but playing is not commenced even if I hit the "play" sign.

What is the problem, bug in SW?

 

Airpods

My airpods don't show up on the list under HID. None of my two set do.
