My All in 1 PC can't detect its own camera when its in Monitor mode

I have an old windows 10 All-in-1 standalone PC which I'm currently using as a 2nd monitor for my new PC windows 11. My old all-in-1 PC has a built-in camera but won't detect it when it is in monitor mode. I've tried upgrading the driver when it was in standalone mode as well but my new PC still wont recognise it.

    :)

  2. Dell Monitor Camera

I have a Dell Monitor hooked to a Dell XPS Laptop. I want to use the monitor camera not the laptop camera. I've tried the suggestions from a closed thread about activating the camera but when I try the steps it keeps going to the laptop camera.

Suggestions or am I asking the impossible.

  3. PC will not detect Monitor

Issue: Monitors and PC are not detecting each other and it's on the PC side.

I have a new pc and was working great for a few days. Then 1 day when PC was in sleep mode and woken up it is not connecting with monitor. I checked all the cords and 2 different monitors with old and new PC. They both worked fine with the old PC but not new one. I unplugged everything for a couple of minutes and retested to no avail. Old pc is Windows 10 and new is Windows 11. I have an asus 650x motherboard with built in graphics and a 6800xt with both same thing of monitors not able to detect them.

My All in 1 PC can't detect its own camera when its in Monitor mode

    External monitor detected as camera

I have 2 identical Dell laptops. When I plug my external monitor into one it is detected automatically and everything works. With the other when I plug in the monitor it's detected as a camera. My display device, monitor and camera drivers are all identical
and updated. In the Device Manager when I plug into the laptop that works the monitor appears under Display Adapters, as it should. But the other shows it under Cameras as a USB Video Device that won't start. Hope someone has an idea on this. Thanks.
