Windows 10: My Anti Malware service excuriable using too much ram without using cpu

hi guys I m having the problem with my Anti malware service excuriable is taking too much ram in idle it takes like 1 gb without using too much cpu .. and When I search the solution in online they say that that It might be doing some window full scan but my cpu usage is literally single digit when my ram usage is so high....So as they said I tried to uncheck some setting in window defender scheduled plan of task schedule.. But when I got there I found out another problem My window defender scheduled plan is not working with error message of 0x8007042B other 3 tasks are successful..How can I fi

McAffee and Emsisoft Anti Malware

I personally use Emsisoft Anti-Malware and IMO it is far better than McAfee...

If you decide to use Emsisoft, please make sure to fully uninstall McAfee with the help of their specific removal tool from this List

anti malware service executable

I did a complete scan on the PC through Windows defender (win 10) and I saw anti malware service executable in the task manager. It's the first time I do a complete scan. Question: Was this in the task
manager before or I didnt notice it?. I read that it is wasting a lot of cpu usage. If I close it, my pc will be vulnerable to malwares?. Thanks in advance!
