    My audio output on browser calls get choppy


    Hello, I use a windows 10 on a DELL core i7 computer, and I had little to no problems with it for the past year apart from the headphone plug simply just not working. I went on a call on Microsoft meetings and my audio output was extremely choppy, as in it cut the audio at each 0.1 second. The other participants in the video call were able to hear me just fine, but I oculdn't hear them. I tried to use a bluetooth headphone as well but that simply didn't work at all. This problem persists with Instagram video call as well. Please help.

    Why is YouTube audio choppy?

    I have a Hewlett Pavilion x360 Convertible 14m-dh1xxx running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and Chrome version 87.0.4280.141. There was a recent Windows update and now YouTube audio is constantly choppy. This was never happening before and I might add that it doesn't happen while disconnected from my external audio output. So I'd like to know why this is happening and how I can get rid of this choppiness so I can watch YouTube videos cleanly with no lag. I've tried reinstalling drivers completely, reinstalling Chrome, signing in and signing out of Google account within browser, disabling hardware acceleration, clearing cache and cookies, etc. Nothing works so far and I'd like to know what to do about this.

    If anyone could help me out with this that would be great!

    Edit: Also I used Speedtest and my internet is fine.

    Edit: I also used another streaming service, Twitch.tv, and the same problem happens. The video and audio are choppy on both websites as well.

    My audio is very choppy?

    That bad is audio with both my PC headset and TV. In Device Manager > Sound, Video and game controllers, and Sound > Playback tab, I've got listed:


    • Mpow HC (headset)
    • NVIDIA High Definition Audio (TV)
    • Realtek Audio

    In Device Manager, the context menu of each is the same. In Sound, the default device is NVIDIA High Definition Audio. When trying to troubleshoot, via settings, I get:

    I don't know which to choose. Troubleshooting via the Taskbar speaker icon hadn't helped.
