  1. My audio will not stop cutting out and I don't know why.

Starting today, whenever I play any game, the audio will cut out randomly. I have gone through reasons why this could be happening but haven't gotten any answer. It will go back to normal if I roll the volume up and down but lasts for maybe like 3 minutes before I have to do it again. I use a Logitech G733 headset and it has been fine up until now. Any ideas?

    :)

  3. How to stop audio from cutting out on the drivers end?

    Hi

    Welcome to Microsoft community.

I know you're experiencing audio cutting out on your device. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

    1. Update audio drivers: Ensure that you have the latest audio drivers installed on your device. You can visit the manufacturer's website or the support page for your specific audio device model and download the latest drivers available. Install the updated drivers and see if it resolves the audio cutting out issue.
    2. Check audio cables and connections: If you're using external speakers or headphones, make sure the cables are properly connected to both the audio source and the output device. Try unplugging and re-plugging the cables to ensure a secure connection. If you're using wireless headphones or speakers, check the Bluetooth or wireless connection to ensure it's stable.
    3. Adjust audio settings: Sometimes, certain audio settings can cause interruptions or audio cutouts. Follow these steps to adjust the audio settings on your device:
      • Right-click on the speaker icon in the system tray (bottom right corner of the screen) and select "Playback devices."
      • In the Sound window, select your audio device and click on "Properties."
      • Go to the "Advanced" tab and try changing the default format of the audio. You can experiment with different sample rates and bit depths to see if it improves the audio stability.
    4. Disable audio enhancements: Some audio enhancements or effects can interfere with the audio playback and cause interruptions. To disable audio enhancements, follow these steps:
      • Right-click on the speaker icon in the system tray and select "Playback devices."
      • In the Sound window, select your audio device and click on "Properties."
      • Go to the "Enhancements" tab and check the box that says "Disable all enhancements." Click "OK" to save the changes.
    Best regards

Windows 10 Dolby Advanced audio v2 don-t work

    Hi Vlad,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

This issue seems to be due to the incorrect/incompatible audio card drivers on the computer. I would suggest you to uninstall the existing Audio Card Drivers and then reinstall the latest Windows 10 compatible Drivers for your computer model.

Uninstall and Reinstall the Audio Card Drivers

    Uninstall the Device Drivers

    • Press “Windows Logo” + “X” keys on the keyboard.
    • Click on “Device Manager” from that list.
    • Search for the Audio device from the device list, right click on it and then select “Uninstall”. On the un-installation window, if you have an option: “Delete the driver software for this device
you may select that and then remove the corrupted drivers from the computer.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and the restart the computer if prompted.
After the restart, please open the Device Manager again and then click on the “Scan for hardware changes” button. Check if Windows detects the Audio Card device and installs an appropriate driver
automatically. If the issue still persists, then try the next step. Reinstall the latest Windows compatible Audio Drivers.

Do let us know if you have any other queries pertaining to Windows in the future. We will be happy to help.
