Windows 10: My BIOS OEM key doesnt work

    My BIOS OEM key doesnt work


    So I found a windows 10 pro key online, I went in the activation, disabled my wifi and activated it, then restarted my pc and it said something about not having a license, so now im trying to go back to my original windows 10 home by entering my BIOS OEM key and then when I enter it theres an error: The product key that you entered didn't work. Check the product key and try again, or enter a different one. 0xc004f050 So now I have no idea how to go back to my orginal windows 10 And the troubleshooter says we found a windows 10 home digital license on this device running windows 10 Pro.     Respected Sir/Madam,

    Actually back in 2014 i have purchased a dell laptop in which window 8.1 64 bit was pre installed. After some years window got crashed and i went to a shop,they installed window 8.1 pro with different products key.But still os asking me to activate it..so
    i want to use my initial window 8.1.I came to know about my bios OEM key and i try to use it but its showing error..i have downloaded window 8.1 english from Microsoft website but they asking products key to proceed and also bios OEM key not working as well..please
    help..what i need to do next?

    OEM keys & bios / firmware upgrades

    Hi, I have a HP laptop that was originally Win 8 with an OEM key. That was subsequently upgraded to Win 10. I note that there are bios & firmware upgrades available for my device but I have read that the OEM key is embedded in the BIOS. Can I upgrade the
    bios & firmware & the OEM key still be valid?
